Horoscope for the week of February 20, 2005

20 February 2005

Tip of the Week:

Pisces is a sign as peculiar as two fish out of water! Since Pisces represents the subconscious and the disembodied soul, people strongly influenced by the twelfth and last sign of the Zodiac can at best be described as mystical, meditative, imaginative, compassionate, sensitive, subtle, psychic and wise. Alternatively as with the fish swimming in opposite directions, people strongly yet negatively influenced by Pisces tend to be vague, deceitful of self and others, lacking in self awareness, deluded, oblivious, unrealistic, fantastic and illusory, escapist and prone to addiction. Now, every person experiences the influences of all the archetypes of Zodiac Signs, Planets and Fixed Stars to a greater or lesser degree, but definitely to some degree, whether they believe it or like it or not. With one or more planets in Pisces, Neptune prominent in the chart or Pisces on one of the four cardinal direction points, Pisces will be strong. Do you feel the Piscean influence in your personality?

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 20)

An assertive mood vies with desires to rest and retreat. Some effective time management may allow you to have it all. Meanwhile, awakenings of one kind of another are dancing in your mind. These may be best accessed through remembering your dreams and/or through quality time with close friends. Your overall goal now is to push through and beyond fears including yielding to the expectations of others or current trends. Take time out to review your priorities.

Taurus (Apr 21 – May 20)

Awakening to needs, desires and hidden aspects of your self continue. There is so much more to people in general and each of us specifically that getting to know our self is an ongoing life process. However, without the awareness of such hidden aspects or the innocence to engage in the thrill of discovery or the flexibility to flow with change, we can become stagnant and dull due to the limitations of our own self-definition and habit. Open your mind to the possibilities!

Gemini (May 21 – Jun 20)

Gemini is the sign of the twins and one of the interpretations of the twins is the right and left brain. The first half is intuitive and compassionate and the other logical and indifferent. Merging these two faculties requires above all imagination. Synthesizing the two modes of perception into a more unified whole will allow you to see situations without worry, fear or reaction. Feel with your mind and think with your heart!

Cancer (Jun 21 – Jul 21)

A communion with others of like mind and/or with your own higher mind is now in focus. Cultural and spiritual events as well as travel and adventure are calling you out. A growing determination to make things happen is bringing out your assertiveness and perhaps even aggressiveness. Your task includes letting go of conditioned beliefs, limiting perceptions, attitudes and self-concepts about what is possible. Push for change!

Leo (Jul 22 – Aug 22)

Merging with significant others in body, mind and soul is in the spotlight. This process also includes purging old emotional responses that no longer serve. Keeping the drama mellow will allow you to harness the energy for the sake of creative self-expression that could otherwise be wasted. Besides, growling and grumbling about things is often a manipulation control drama based on being right rather than happy. Unchain your heart!

Virgo (Aug 23 – Sep 21)

New relationship prospects require love, focus and effective time management. Managing and delegating are both important for success now. The need to let go of habitual patterns is key and will continue well into 2006. In other words, you have time yet nothing will change without intention and follow through. All efforts to see how, where and why to make conscious changes will keep you on track. You can do this process with a loving approach.

Libra (Sep 22 – Oct 21)

Creating a healthy new routine in your overall lifestyle continues. This will include more quality time with friends and creative self-expression. Meanwhile, pushing for change close to home may be the source of some disruptive activity. When the stakes are high and the pressure is evident we need to maintain emotional centeredness and self control. This has been the case for you and will continue through to summer. Persevere!

Scorpio (Oct 22 – Nov 21)

A creative, playful, passionate and imaginative time is upon you. Gathering with friends to make some exciting things happen is a source of inspiration for you now. However, you are also in the mood to take realistic action and could become impatient if the overall attitude is too light-hearted. The time has come to make some of your dreams reality and you mean business. Face all obstacles with faith and courage as you advance to new heights!

Sagittarius (Nov 21 – Dec 20)

Nestling in close to home probably feels like a welcome idea now. However, changes of some kind on the home front are likely this week. These include nurturing new intentions and attitudes on one hand and letting go of stuff on the other. This stuff may be literally things and/or it could be old attitudes, approaches and perspectives. A yearning for adventure and freedom of expression is part of the plot. Let go of illusions and outline dreams.

Capricorn (Dec 21 – Jan 19)

Letting your imagination run a little wilder than you normally do might be just what you need now. Brainstorming for new ideas, directions and prospects is likely. If you are really fortunate, you will have the opportunity to escape to some exotic place for a while. In any case, you are eager to explore some alternatives. Balancing an honourable social stance while maintaining complete freedom of thought and action, could prove interesting.

Aquarius (Jan 20- Feb 19)

Building upon a more realistic foundation requires imagination and vision. To engage fully, you may feel the need to pull away from people and events for awhile to regain your focus. This is not a good time to make any new big commitments of any kind. Putting your thoughts and feelings into words may feel difficult now as well, so perhaps images or metaphors of some kind will help to get the message across. Speak and act symbolically.

Pisces (Feb 19 – Mar 20)

Like a seahorse just out of the gates, you are suddenly in the mood to make some waves. Although some of your dreams remain larger than life, the time has come to implement the next phase of initiatives. What might this imply for you? Outline your intentions so that they do not evaporate like sea mist. Revolutionary action is good, just make sure that your horses are harnessed and pulling in directions that count. The momentum will mount through to May.
