Horoscope for the week starting October 2, 2005

2 October 2005

By Michael O'Connor

Tip of the week:

Few people realize that Numerology is a code for Astrology. This is so because Astrology is cosmic in origin just as we are as souls. Even many numerologists would not recognize these facts. Numbers, like planets, are archetypes. Archetypes are the building blocks of creation, the essentials, the blue print, the inner code; the occult or "hidden" reality, the mind of God. Think of it, there are only 10 numbers counted from 0 to 9 which can be and are used to measure everything in creation from atoms to time.

So, Numerologists are number code Astrologers, so to speak. Combining Numerology with Astrology has an exponential result and, consequently, benefit. This result is even higher when you combine other systems like the Tarot, for example, or other systems of Astrology like Mayan, Vedic or Chinese; even your eye structure and birth order share essential links to one another and to the same source. Now, we can use Numbers/Numerology to measure the cycles and rhythms of our life. It is very helpful for tuning into natural cycles and rhythms. By the way, October each year offer a "sneak preview" of themes and events that will play out all next year. Please visit my new Website and go to "Library" where you can obtain a free instruction sheet for calculating some basic life-cycle guidance.

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 20)

Beginnings and endings on relationship fronts may be a source of mixed emotions. Everything is born, lives, dies and is born again in some other form – energy cannot die it can only change its form. There are many laws that govern it all. Many refer to it as karma, the law of action, balance, causes and effects that transcend time and space just as we do. Anyway, appreciation of the life rhythm can put you more in the moment and appreciative of the time you do have with people you love.

Taurus (Apr 21 – May 20)

This week's New Moon in Libra (Oct 3, 3:28 am PDT) takes place in the house of health, habit and routine. This next lunar cycle offers you an opportunity to become more conscious of your health, habits and routine. While this does imply the relationship you have with yourself and your life, it includes how you engage with others as well. Remember, the laws of karma are impartial yet they do not miss a thing. Justice is always served, though sometimes later than sooner. Enlightenment is the only escape!

Gemini (May 21 – Jun 21)

A creative and romantic whirlwind continues to blow. Of course, some romantic realities are more dramatic than others. In a certain respect, all of life is one great romantic drama and nature eternally propagates. Now, back to the actors on the visceral stage, in the throes of change - this is a time of fluid movement and flow. Let the magic energy lead you, emotions and all, beyond the norm. Recognize people as they truly are as a personality; yet through and beyond, to their very soul. Spread the star dust!

Cancer (Jun 22 – Jul 22)

With a new season upon us you are happy to be in-tune with changing rhythms. With an eye for beauty, art and style you feel inspired and confident to engage. Establishing a new base, in one sense of the term or another, is a source of creative purpose. Sometimes caring for others is some significant way offers purpose. Striking a balance between meeting the needs of others as well as your own will ensure throughout autumn. Aim for fair negotiation and win/win deals.

Leo (Jul 23 – Aug 23)

A busy pace is keeping you busy and will continue especially for the next few weeks. Dramas of one kind or another on all fronts can be a source of trouble or excitement, the choice of attitude is up to you. Turn your attention to your higher mind and truth for guidance. No one can please all the people all the time. Even enemies serve their purpose. The Mars/Venus opposition this past weekend brought sparks of some kind to everyone. Share in the realities and realizations!

Virgo (Aug 24 – Sep 22)

Building new foundations always includes some form of renovation. Cutting new ground and or removing old wood can be work. Trust and focus with perseverance and follow-through lead to success. This is a time of mixed blessings for many as nature, in one form or another, is the project manager encouraging the new foundations. Mourning does have its place yet the needs of the moment may delay the opportunity. Can you see the beauty in it all?

Libra (Sep 23 – Oct 22)

Evolution is known to take revolutionary turns and this, these times, is one of them. We are all affected by our environment and our environments continue to move and change. Keeping pace often requires faith in action and that is what you, and we, must now demonstrate. The New Moon in your sign does signify a return to order, yet perhaps on new ground and levels. How can you share your wisdom and wealth, in whatever form, with others for mutual benefit?

Scorpio (Oct 23 – Nov 21)

Recharging and re-balancing continues as a central theme. Ideally, you recognize the value of this mode of intention. The current energies can also imply a good deal of activity behind the scenes – either volitionally or by consequence of the actions of others. In any case entertaining new possibilities and/or shopping around are likely. Fears of maltreatment of any kind could be a projection or a lack of faith. Be aware of such obsessions and trust in the laws - be they legal, physical or spiritual.

Sagittarius (Nov 22 – Dec 21)

The Chinese have a saying that good luck comes from many good friends and contacts. A practical observation that could change your life forever and for the better! Slowly learning tough lessons builds character and strength. Fortunately, you are a creative and resourceful warrior and always seem to pull-off the miraculous. Your friends see your wildness yet also your brilliance. Balance the two gracefully and your allies will always be close at hand if and when you fall. Connect with oneness.

Capricorn (Dec 22 – Jan 19)

As you enter into a new round of negotiations on one or more of a variety of fronts you find yourself to do the fair and right thing. While the interpretation of what this means is often relative, there are strong indications that you will do your best. Your visionary self is awake, alive and well and you are eager and quite possibly in a good position to expand your position in the world for the better. Express your best executive decision making, delegation and negotiation skills.

Aquarius (Jan 20 – Feb 19)

Seeing the bigger picture in one way or another is now in focus. This includes recognizing, appreciating and accepting certain laws. Ideally, you see the law of love shining above all the rest. This law recognizes the essential unity, equality and inter-connection of all life. Seeing through limited materialistic perspectives to expanded spiritual perceptions is part of the equation. Join with others of like mind and heart to celebrate the dawning of a new era.

Pisces (Feb 20 – Mar 20)

All things come to an end yet each ending is its own beginning. In certain ways a liberation, while in others sadness often comes from this perennial rhythm of nature. Fortunately, the rebirth offers opportunities for new expression and growth just as new buds after winter's freeze. What "new" means is for you to decide! Trust in life and love and God and be open to the possibilities beyond limiting beliefs, habitual patterns and perspectives and fixed emotions. Honor the cyclic rhythms of nature and life so as to embrace change with vision and courage.
